Scheepjes Organicon is a consciously produced yarn collection, made from organic cotton. This naturally soft and airy yarn is particularly suitable for airy clothing that drapes beautifully, wearable accessories and toys, blankets and clothing for (young) children. Organicon is produced according to the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS), the highest achievable sustainability standard for textile production in the world. A GOTS certificate guarantees the traceability of cotton produced on organic fields, without the use of chemical fertilizers, and cultivated in a sustainable way that maintains the fertility of the land. Organicon is also a vegan-friendly yarn. No animal (by-)products are used in the production process, and this also applies to the dyes used for this yarn. In short, Scheepjes Organicon is an excellent alternative for all environmentally conscious creatives.
